Review
“Cool doesn’t necessarily mean happy. You gave up happiness when you started caring about what other people think”.
I would recommend this text to young adults and adults who enjoy comedy, TheOdd1sOut YouTube channel, and texts with a male protagonist. As I was reading, the writing channeled the author’s voice so well that it felt like I was being read aloud to by the author. I laughed several times because the tips to being cool in seventh grade still apply, the flowchart to choosing a font was entertaining, and the variety of accessibility chapters were engaging. The quote above is from page 46 of the first book and felt relatable to my experience growing up.
